Beets are also known as "Beetroots" is a wonderful vegetable cultivated many regions throughout the world with numerous health advantages. The scientific name of the beets is Beta vulgaris. It belongs to the genus Chenopodiaceous family. It is believed that this healthy vegetable is native to North Africa, but now it is also cultivated widely in Asian and European seashores.

Due to various types of Vitamin, Minerals and nutrients, present in the beets, it has lots of health benefits. Among that some of the health benefits of beets include preventing anemia, reduce the risk of indigestion, relief from constipation and piles, improve kidney health, cure dandruff, and prevent gall bladder disorders, it also helps to prevent  various types of cancer and heart disease.
