Generally Cloves are the buds of an aromatic flower cultivated many regions throughout the world with numerous health advantages. The scientific name of cloves is Syzygium aromaticum. It belongs to the genus Myrtaceae family is a flowering tree. It is believed that this wonderful spice is native to the Maluku Islands in Indonesia, but now it is also cultivated widely all over the world for domestic and commercial purpose.

Due to various types of Vitamin, Minerals and nutrients, presence in the cloves, it has lots of health benefits. Cloves contain lots of Vitamin, Minerals and other components. Some of the vitamins that cloves has vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin K, Vitamin E, Folates, Pantothenic acid,  Pyridoxine, Riboflavin, Niacin and Thiamin. Clove also contains dietary fiber, essential oil such as eugenol, sodium and potassium, which have lots of health advantages. Apart from this clove also contains minerals such as calcium, zinc, copper, manganese, selenium, phosphorus, magnesium and iron. The best part of the cloves is, it contains zero cholesterol. Cloves also contain some Phyto-nutrient such as beta carotene and lutein-zeaxanthin.

Studies have been proven that consumption of cloves can improve the digestion process because it increases the production of enzyme in our stomach, which helps in the digestion process.
