Pomelo is also known as "pomello" is a delicious food cultivated many regions throughout the world with numerous health advantages. The scientific name of the pomelo is Citrus maxima or Citrus grandis. It belongs to the genus Rutaceae family. It is believed that this delicious fruit is native to southeastern Asia and all of Malaysia, but now it is also cultivated widely in other tropical countries like China, Japan, India, Fiji, Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand.

Due to various types of Vitamin, Minerals and nutrients, present in the pomelo, it has lots of health benefits.
