Peach is a delicious fruit cultivated many regions throughout the world with numerous health benefits. The scientific name of a peach is Prunus persica. It belongs to the Rosaceae family. It is believed that this herb is native to Northwest China between the Tarim Basin and the north slopes of the Kunlun Shan mountain region. In India this delicious fruit is grown in almost all states in large scale, such as Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh.
