Radicchio is a one of the healthiest leafy vegetable cultivated many regions throughout the world with numerous health advantages. The scientific name of Radicchio is Sesamum indicu Cichorium intybus 'Witlof'. It belongs to the family of genus asteraceae. It is believed that this leafy vegetable is native to the Northern Italy, but now it is also cultivated widely all over the world for domestic and commercial purpose.

Due to various types of Vitamin, Minerals and nutrients, present in the Radicchio, it has lots of health benefits.
