Achieving flawless, glowing and clean skin is the dream of everyone. If you want a beautiful skin and to look for some natural beauty tips, you need to follow the below mentioned things that can work wonders for your skin.

Remove your makeup before sleeping:

Make sure to remove your makeup before sleeping. The skin needs to breathe overnight and makeup prevents that. It can clogs the pores if you leave it like that overnight which may cause blemishes and blackheads. Put some olive oil or makeup remover on a cotton pad and gently massage the oil onto your face to remove the makeup and dirt.
Scrub your skin with a scrubber to remove the layers of dead skin at least once or twice a week. You can also apply a paste of walnut in powder with yogurt to exfoliate your skin. The antioxidants present in walnuts help remove dirt and promote radiant skin. This will result in a more healthy glow and brighter skin.

Avoid Sun Exposure:

Since sun exposure can cause wrinkles, age spots and other skin problems, you have to protect your skin from the sun. Apply sunscreen with SPF of at least 15 that blocks ultraviolet rays. Always use ‘noncomedogenic’ or ‘nonacnegenic’ products so that the product does not tend to block pores. Always apply the sunscreen, whether it is cloudy or cold outside. If you are going to a beach or cold places with snow or ice, put up some more sunscreen with SPF of at least 30.

Watch your Diet:

Keep a watch on your plate that you eat. Eat fresh fruits, greens, sufficient protein and vitamins. A diet rich in vitamin C and low in fats and sugar promotes radiant skin. Follow a low sugar diet, which can keep insulin levels down, allowing cells to maintain a healthy balance. Avoid eating spicy and fermented foods, salt, citrus fruits, fried food.

Exercise regularly:

Running, jogging, swimming and yoga will give your body the necessary blood circulation, and also accelerate the cleansing process of your entire body. You will notice a glow on your face after working out. Just take a brisk walk around the block if can not do rigorous workout. Skincare before and after a workout is more important. Apply a toner to help minimize oil production before doing any activities. Exfoliate after doing exercise and apply shea butter or olive oil to moisturize the skin.

Get enough Sleep:

A good sleep acts as a natural facial for your skin. So try not be up for late hours. Try to sleep at least 8 hours every night. A good sleep is a key to healthy skin. Your skin gets tired just like you if you don't get enough sleep. You can also apply honey on your face twice or thrice a week to naturally soothe and heal your skin.
Always wash and moisturize your face before going to bed. For dry skin, use milder cleansers that are free from alcohol. Apply lots of moisturizer, and avoid hot water as it dries out the skin excessively.

Hydrate yourself:

Drink lots of water daily, at least 8 glasses if you can not drink more. Also, eats fruits and vegetables that have a high water content such as watermelon, cucumber, orange, strawberry and grapefruit. Applying rose water helps prevent and reduce eye puffiness in the morning. It also maintains pH balance and naturally hydrates your skin if you spritz it on during the day.

Take care of Acne:

Wash your face with warm water, three times a day, and gently massage your face in circular motions. Ensure that the cleanser contains alpha hydroxyl acid or beta hydroxyl acid. Multani mitti also work really good as face packs . After cleansing, pat dry and apply a lotion which contains benzoyl peroxide. Because of its antibacterial actions, benzoyl peroxide appears to be effective.
Don't try to pop pimples as it can lead to more swelling, redness, and even scarring. Just clean the area with rose water, and place a piece of ice for 10 minutes. Make sure to clean the glasses or sunglasses that you wear frequently to keep oil from clogging the pores around your eyes and nose.

Use Ayurvedic scrubs:

Use Ayurvedic scrubs to nourish the skin, and help it breathe better. Make a paste using 2 tbsp chickpea flour, half tsp turmeric powder, and sandalwood with some rose water or milk. You can use this skincare pack which will make your skin perfect. 
Just breathing right can reduce spots and pimples. You can try Sudarshan Kriya which is a breathing technique that harmonize the body, mind and emotions. This helps releasing accumulated stresses. As each individual's experience is different you can try out different relaxing technique that can reduce stress.

Follow a skin care regimen:

As different skin type require different care and special treatment, apply a face pack of your skin type on your face before going to bed. Leave for 15 minutes and wash with lukewarm water. A gentle facial massage with oils could work wonders. Choose oils from mustard, coconut or almond depending on your skin type as they are excellent nourishing agents which help to get glowing skin.

Healthy Habits:

  • Take out time for yourself, and try to avoid stress as much as possible. Stress causes your body to produce cortisol and other hormones, making the skin more oily. You can practice stress management techniques like breathing exercises, yoga and meditation.  Meditation can help you to get a radiant skin.
  • You need to take care of your jawline and facial muscles also. A few facial exercises at least 5 minutes a day can do wonder. You can look up towards the ceiling and pout. It stretches out the muscles making the skin more firm and works wonder.
  • Stay away from smoking, drinking or any other bad habit. They not only put a negative effect on your health but also give you dull and old looking skin.
  • Keeping a smile on your face will help maintain the tone of your facial muscles and skin.
