The waterfalls in the area only compliment the climate and the flattering pleasant air around. These include the Dain Thelen falls, Noh Sngithiang falls, Noh Kalikai falls and more.
You can find the magnificent Jingkieng Nongriat Double Decker Living Root Bridge, more commonly known as the Umshiang Double Decker Living Root Bridge or simply just the Double Decker Root Bridge here. This area is famous for root bridges made of Indian Rubber Tree, but the Double Decker Bridge is the most famous of all due to its large size. It is 3 kilometers long and placed at a height of 2400 feet.

This place is 92 km from Cherrapunji and 90 km from Shillong. Best way to reach here is by taking a taxi from Shillong or from Cherrapunji. The waterfalls along with abundant flowers in the area adds to the natural beauty.
Nohkalikai Falls is one of the most popular and significant places to see in the North-East which is the fourth highest waterfalls in the world. Tucked in between evergreen rainforest of the Khasi Hill and flowing with all its majesty and might, the falls plunges some 335 meters from a verdant cliff to the ground into a lagoon which is as blue as the afternoon sky.
Angling, trekking, landscape photography, bird watching and swimming are some of the activities that can be enjoyed at Nohkalikai Falls. The best time to explore and marvel at the Nohkalikai falls is from October till December and March till May as these are pretty much the clearest months in Cherrapunjee.
Krem Phyllut has many caves that is located south of Cherrapunji. There are three different entrances to the caves and two separate river passages within.
