Khajjiar is a small town, very nearby to Dalhousie located at an altitude of 6,500 feet. Panch pulla means five bridges which is a waterfall, where five streams come together. The main stream of panchpulla supplies water to the various cities of Dalhousie. This stream originates from the northern side of Dain Kund. This place is best known for the monument of Sardar Ajit Singh ,trekking and its marvellous beauty.
Satdhara also known as Gandhak means seven springs. The Satdhara Falls gets its name from being the waterfall that brings together the waters of the seven beautiful springs which is situated in the Chamba valley. The place is surrounded by stunning views of snow-covered ranges, and fresh, green pine and deodar trees. The water here is said to contain mica, which has medicinal properties to cure skin diseases. The water here is clear crystal and serene. Under the supervision of trained instructors you can do river crossing and river rafting across the river Ravi or Saal. Dainkund Peak of Dalhousie is the highest peak in the area watching over the beautiful pine laid landscapes. It is situated 10 kms away from Dalhousie at a great height of 2755 m above sea level. This is also known as the Singing Hill as wind blowing through the trees create a musical serenade.
Kalatop wildlife sanctuary also known as Kalatop Khajjiar Sanctuary, is located in the hilly Chambal district of Himachal Pradesh. As the thick black forest cover on the highest hilltop in the sanctuary, the name Kalatop refers to "black cap".
