Broccoli has various health benefits and nutritional value. Broccoli is an edible green plant in the cabbage family whose large flowering head and stalk is eaten as a vegetable. The word broccoli comes from the Italian plural of broccolo, which means "the flowering crest of a cabbage", and is the diminutive form of brocco, meaning "small nail" or "sprout". You may be thinking if broccoli might be the right food for your baby while introducing vegetables for the first time.

Choose Broccoli that have dark green or sage shades, with slightly purplish-green tinge in colour. Make sure that they are uniformly coloured and don’t have any anomalies. If there are any tiny yellow flowers or grey coloured portions, discard that broccoli.

Broccoli Puree


How To Cook
Wash broccoli properly in running water.
Cut it into small pieces.
Steam it until it softens.
Blend it together to get a smooth puree.
Add water if required.

Broccoli And Cheese Nuggets
Boiled and chopped broccoli
vegetable puree

How To Cook
Take a baking sheet and apply some olive oil.
Take a bowl and mix all the ingredients in it.
Take a small amount of mixture in your hand and shape them like a nugget.
Make 4-5 nuggets ball and place these on the baking tray.
Place the tray in the oven and bake for about 15 minutes at the temperature of 190 degrees.
Pull the tray out, flip the nuggets, and bake for another 5-10 minutes.
The nuggets are ready to be served, making it great broccoli cheese baby food to be had any time.

Steam broccoli along with diced carrots until they are soft.
Blend them together until they form a puree.

Steam the broccoli until they become soft.
Mix the broccoli and rice in a pan.
Place the pan on a low flame and allow it to cook.
Add cheese mean while and stir it well.
Wait until the cheese has melted completely.
Remove the flame and blend it together to form a puree.

Milk with reduced fat

How To Cook
Take a large pan and add oil to it.
Heat it on medium flame and add onions to it. Saute them until they soften.
Boil broccoli until they are soft and add them with the onion.
Remove the flame and add milk to it. Stir it properly and pour it into a blender.
Blend it all together to get a required consistency.
Add pepper if you want and serve your baby once it is cool down.
