It may irritate the skin around your baby’s mouth when she eats it but its not harmful. Symptoms may appear like sore mouth, swelling of the lips, tongue, face, or vomiting after eating kiwi. Give kiwi to your baby only in moderate quantity. If she is fine with it,then you may increase the amount.  Consult your doctor before introducing any new food to your baby.

How To Choose And Store Kiwis For Babies?

Kiwi does not get contaminated due to pesticides but choosing organic kiwi is always good for your baby. Do not buy kiwi with bruised skin, have visible indentations, are squisher-softer, or have damp spots. You can check the sweetness of the fruit by pressing it gently. Kiwis can be stored for 3 to 4 weeks in a refrigerator.

Peel and cut both the fruits.

Kiwi Salad

1 kiwi
1 pear
1 small banana

How To:
Peel and chop the fruits and keep them.
Add crushed oats with it.
Add little yogurt on top.
You can blend them all to make puree if your baby is less than a year old.

Ingredients
2 ripe kiwis
1 small ripe mango
1 ripe avocado

How To:
Peel and chop the fruits.
Mix all the fruits and blend them together to make the puree.

Creamy Kiwi
Ingredients
1 ripe kiwi
1/2 cup natural yogurt
1 drop vanilla extract

How To:
Peel and chop the kiwi.
Mix everything together.

3-4 ripe kiwis
1/2 cup apple juice or grape juice

How To:
Peel and chop the kiwi.
Mix apple juice in a saucepan.
Keep it on low flame for 10 to 15 minutes until kiwi turns soft.
Blend it to make the puree.

Tropical Oats
1 ripe kiwi fruit
1 banana
1/4 cup apple juice
1/2 cup rolled oats
Little water

How To:
Boil the water and apple juice together in a pan.
Add peeled and chopped kiwi in the pan.
Add oats in it, mix well.
Cook for ten minutes in the low flame.
Mash the banana and add in this.
Serve your baby.
