Hair fall can be prevented by following a proper diet and using some natural remedies. The natural remedies that you can use to treat hair fall include:

Egg to treat hair fall:

Mix one egg white in a bowl with a teaspoon each of olive oil and honey. Beat to make a paste and apply it all over from root to tips. Rinse with a mild shampoo after 20 minutes.
As eggs are rich in sulphur, phosphorous, selenium, iodine, zinc and protein, it help promote hair growth.

Licorice root to treat hair fall:

Make a paste by mixing a tablespoon of ground licorice root and a quarter teaspoon saffron to one cup milk. Apply this to your scalp and hair length and leave it on overnight. Wash your hair next morning with a mild shampoo. Repeat this twice a week.
Licorice root prevents hair loss and further damage to the hair. It helps soothe the scalp and get rid of any dry flakes or dandruff.

Coconut Milk to treat hair fall:

Grate a medium sized coconut and simmer it in a pan for five minutes. Strain and cool it. Then add one tablespoon each of crushed black pepper and fenugreek seeds to the milk. Apply the mixture on your scalp and hair and rinse with a mild shampoo after 20 minutes.
As coconut milk has protein and essential fats, it promote hair growth and prevent hair loss.

Green tea to treat hair fall:

Soak two to three teabags in one or two cups of hot water depending on the length of your hair. Pour this over your scalp and hair when it cools and gently massage your head. Rinse with cool water after an hour.
The antioxidant property of green tea will help boost hair growth and prevent hair loss.

Beetroot leaves to treat hair fall:

Boil 7 to 8 beetroot leaves and grind along with 5 to 6 henna leaves.
Apply this paste on your scalp and leave for 15 to 20 minutes before rinsing with warm water.
Being rich in vitamins C and B6, folate, manganese, betaine and potassium, beetroot leaves promote healthy hair growth. In addition, it acts as a detoxification agent by helping keep the scalp clean.

Greek yogurt and honey to treat hair fall:

Mix 2 tablespoons of yogurt with one tablespoon of honey and lemon in a bowl. Apply this paste on the scalp and roots. Leave it on for 30 minutes before rinsing with cold water. Apply this paste once a week.

Aloe Vera to treat hair fall:

Take the stalk of Aloe Vera and extract the pulp. Apply it to your hair and scalp.
Rinse with normal water after 45 minutes. You can do this three to four times a week to see better results.
Aloe Vera is an effective home remedy for hair loss and to boost hair growth as it works as conditioner. It is also effective in reducing problems of scalp like itching and flaking.

Fenugreek seeds to treat hair fall:

Soak the fenugreek seeds overnight in water and grind it to make a fine paste. Apply it to your hair and scalp and rinse it with normal water after 30 to 45 minutes. Do it twice a week for a month to control hair fall.
Fenugreek seeds are very effective to repair the hair follicles and helps in growth of new hair.

Onion juice to treat hair fall:

Grind a medium sized onion and then squeeze out the juice. Dip the cotton ball in the onion juice and apply it to your scalp. Leave it on for 20 to 30 minutes and then wash it off using normal water and a mild shampoo. Follow this procedure once a week to see the difference.
The antibacterial properties of onions helps fight against scalp infections, while the sulfur content improves circulation blood to the hair follicles. Therefore it promotes hair growth and controls loss of hair.

Amla to treat hair fall:

Mix lime juice and the amla powder to make a paste and massage it to your scalp and hair. Use a shower cap to cover your head so that the paste doesn't dry out.
Keep it for an hour and then rinse it off with normal water.
The anti-inflammatory and the exfoliating properties of amla helps promote faster growth of hair, maintain a healthy scalp and prevents premature greying.
As it is rich in vitamin C, consuming amla will strengthen the hair follicles and help you to control it.

Healthy diet is the secret to thick, shiny, strong hair. Following a proper balanced diet can prevet hair fall. For this you need to include plenty of vegetable and fruits that include:

Spinach:

Spinach is a rich source of iron, vitamin A, C and protein. As iron deficiency is one of the main cause of hair fall, including spinach in your diet can help reduce hair fall. It also contains sebum which acts as a natural conditioner for hair. The omega-3 acid, magnesium, potassium and calcium present in it help in maintaining a healthy scalp and lustrous hair.

Carrots:

Deficiency of vitamin A may lead to dry and itchy scalp. As carrots contain Vitamin A , it improves hair growth. Because it improve blood circulation, consuming carrot will strengthen the hair, protect hair from external damages like pollution and also help prevent breakage of hair and hair fall.

Eggs:

Eggs are rich in a B vitamin called biotin that helps hair grow. It also help in rebuild damaged hair.

Oats:

Oats are rich in fibre, zinc, iron, omega-6 fatty acids and polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) that stimulate hair growth and will make your hair thick and healthy.

Walnuts:

Walnuts are rich in biotin, B vitamins (B1, B6 and B9), Vitamin E, plenty of protein and magnesium. All of these nutrients are helpful in strengthening hair cuticles and nourishing the scalp. It helps protect your cells from DNA damage which may be caused due to sun exposure.

Yogurt:

Yogurt is packed with Vitamin B5 and Vitamin D that are known to promote hair follicle health.
