Rose day is the first day of the Valentine's week which is celebrated every year on 7th of February by the youths as well as interested people of any age group. It is the event of western culture which has been started celebrating in all regions of the country.

Rose day is specially celebrated by the youths of the country by gifting a red rose to his/her loved ones in order to express his/her love forever. There are all kinds of roses and each rose has different meaning and sentiment. It is that time of the year when love is in the air and many people need more then just one day to celebrate love and cherish their special ones. People also observe the week leading up to February 14 as Valentine's Week. This starts with Rose Day on 7th of February.

As the color of the rose you choose to gift on Rose day has also a peculiar significance attached to it, choose accordingly. Each color stands for a different sentiment and hence, happens to have a different meaning. Here is the list of different colors with the meaning:

Red Rose:

The red rose, signifies an expression of love. So if you love someone or want to tell someone that you have started liking them, give a red rose that convey longing and desire.
