Barak Waterfall is located within the still largely unexplored forest territory of Tamenglong. Barak waterfalls facilitate water rafting in its milky and turbulent waters while the ridges and precipices surrounding the peaks around it provides adventurous treking or mountain climbing.
The Barak river on which the Barak waterfalls form is far beyond the sprawling mountain range of Tamenglong. There are seven waterfalls in series at close range along the river Barak.
Zeilad Lake has a picturesque location atop a hill and has been declared as one of the wildlife sanctuaries in Manipur. This lake is famous for the number of pythons, fish and water birds found here. Large tortoises, ducks, cranes and teals are also seen in this lake.

Tharon Cave, also known as Thaeuluan Cave is a 655.6 m long cave, this cave can be explored inside out by enthusiasts, with the help of the map drawn outside the cave. It attracts tourists interested in an adventurous experience.
Tamenglong is blessed with virgin forests which include rare and endangered plants and wildlife. Various important birds including pheasants, peafowl, jungle fowls can be found here. Sambar, deer, hog deer, bear, fox, hyena, wild pig, wild dogs, slow loris and serow are other land animals seen here. Leopards, Tigers, Elephants are also sighted sometimes. This area is rich with reptiles and amphibians as well including Krait, Cobra, Viper, Python and Tortoises, Cranes, Ducks and Teals.
