Amritsar:

Home of the glorious Golden Temple, the iconic city of Amritsar is the spiritual and cultural centre of the Sikh Religion. This place is also famous for its Jallianwala Bagh massacre and its proximity to Wagah Border. Amritsar is well connected with most of the important cities of India as it is one of the most agriculturally productive cities of India. Golden Temple, also known as Sri Harmandir Sahib, is the holiest shrine in Sikhism. Serving as a symbol of brotherhood and equality, Golden Temple is visited by people from all over the world. It was rebuilt by Maharaja Ranjit Singh in 1830 purely with marble and gold. Golden Temple that is located in the beautiful city of Amritsar is just a small part of the vast complex known as Harmandir Sahib or Darbar Sahib to the Sikhs. The spiritual focus is the tank, the Amrit Sarovar, which surrounds the glistening central shrine. Amritsar takes its name from this Amrit Sarovar which was excavated in 1577 by the fourth Sikh guru, Guru Ram Das.

Pathankot:

Pathankot situated in the foothills of Kangra is best known for its serene green beauty and a rich historical past. It is a gateway to Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal. Pathankot was the seat of the Loi and shawl weaving industry for many centuries. It also currently houses the base for the defence forces, Indian Army and the Indian Air Force. With the river Chakki passing by, Pathankot also introduces you to some beautiful religious places like Mukteshwar Temple, Kathgarh temple, Nagni temple and Shahpurkandi Fort.

Patiala:

Patiala is nestled in the southeast of the golden land. Situated in the Malwa region, it is the fourth largest city in the state of Punjab. It is a princely state founded by Baba Ala Singh from the Sidhu Dynasty and also the capital of PEPSU (Punjab and East Punjab States Union). It has strong historic and cultural roots, surrounded by architectural marvels and cultural heritage. Patiala is home to palaces like the Moti Bagh Palace built in 1847, Quila Androon, Rang Mahal and Sheesh Mahal, all known for their architectural marvel. Patiala is also famous for its colorful clothes and dresses.

Ludhiana:

Ludhiana is the largest town of Punjab that is situated on the banks of river Sutlej. The tinsel city is named after the Lodi dynasty and is one the largest manufacturing hub in India. Apart from being an industrial town, Ludhiana own many Gurudwaras, forts and ancient ruins. The village Mir Hota was converted to Ludhiana by Lodi chiefs, Yusaf Khan and Nihang Khan. Ludhiana also hosts the famous Rural Olympics at Qila Raipur each year in the month of January-February. Ludhiana is famous for the ancient ruins of the Lodi dynasty, the war museum and its hosiery industries.

Bhatinda:

Bhatinda is one of the oldest cities of Punjab that is famous as a historical and religious centre dating back to 7000 BC. Modern Bhatinda was established by Bala Rao Bhatti, a Bhati Rajput king in 965 AD. This is the city where Guru Gobind Singhji fought against the Mughals. It offers various attractions to tourists like Quila Mubarak, Bahia Fort, Chetak Park, Zoological Gardens, Dhobhi Bazaar as well as the Mazaar of Peer Haji Rattan.
