Valentine's Day event celebration is not for just a day, it is the major celebration which continues for the whole week. 

While Valentine's Day itself is celebrated with chocolates, candies, flowers and heart-shaped gifts, the week leading up to it is also celebrated as the week of love. It is a time when love is in the air. Couples celebrate Valentine's Week by marking each day with a special significance. The week starts on 7th of February with Rose Day when people in love give their loved ones roses as a symbol of their affection. Promise Day, Chocolate Day, Teddy Day, Kiss Day are other days in this love-filled week where you will get plenty of opportunities to convey your love. Valentine's Week finally ends on February 14, with Valentine's Day.

Valentine's Day is dedicated to love and romance. Valentine's Day is celebrated every year as a grand celebration for the youths including all groups of people all over the world. It held annually on 14th of February and celebrated by the people with lots of joy, happiness and enthusiasm. 

It is the great celebration which strengthens and renovates the bond between each and every relationships by bringing a lot happiness and courage. On this day variety of attractive, lovely, sexy and gorgeous greetings cards, gifts pack, messages etc are exchanged by the loved ones. 

Valentine's Day is also famous by the name "Saint Valentine's Day" or the "Feast of Saint Valentine" which is commemorated yearly worldwide on 14th of February in many countries even after being a working day for all. It became an occasion for expressing the love to the loved ones by presenting gifts, rose flowers, chocolates or greeting cards written Valentine's Day messages. Some people also present their handwritten valentines messages or greeting cards with valentine's pictures.
In India, it is a fun filled celebration full of cultural and traditional activities and mixed of western culture. 

People go to the malls for shopping, multiplexes, cinema halls to enjoy movies, nearby famous places, long drive, restaurants, tour and so many. Young couples propose on this day to each other by offering gifts, red roses, jewellery and cards. Other single young search for their partner at this day to propose and be a nice couple forever.

Although it is not public or private holiday, there are rush at the roads, hotels, restaurants and malls. Greeting cards and gift packs are symbolized with the symbols of love such as red roses, angels, arrows, love birds, red hearts and etc. These symbols play a great role in bringing the couples together, increasing and strengthening their bond of love and friendship. Red color is favorite color of everyone and deeply associated with the symbol of love and romance.

It is the day to enjoy love and romance socially, culturally and traditionally. Love and romance are very necessary in the life of every people to compromise all the pros and cons, to feel something new in the life, to start life in lovely and romantic ways and so many. This day brings a hope of love and romance in everyone's life.
