JHPL-founder Deepak Jindal stepped up into the world of STEVIA- A Sweet Shrub with a motive to provide natural sweetener to Food & Beverage industry with a thought that it would bring a revolution in respective industry. With no background in the world of natural sweetener, his own experience opened his mind with different formulations with Stevia as a sugar substitute in wide variety of food & beverages and encouraged him to bring up more innovations with Stevia.

How did he come up with the idea for “Stevia”- natural sweetener?
Deepak Jindal found that the rate of Sugar sensitive & Overweight population of india is increasing day by day. In Indian culture, use of sugar intake is very high and high consumption rate of cane sugar is a one major reason of increasing rate of Sugar sensitive & overweight population in our country. Moreover, not even a single cane sugar substitute was present in the Indian market. Many companies started selling artificial sweeteners such as sucralose, lactose and aspartame which affects the human body to a great extent. Then, he decided to resolve the current problem by introducing the natural sweetener (Stevia), free from chemicals in India which has zero calories with no fats & carbs. So that, every Indian can enjoy their meal with the same sweetness level as like in cane sugar with no health side-effects.
